DREDGE, the 2023 fishing simulation from Black Salt Games and publisher Team17 has taken up residence in my brain. I can’t stop playing or thinking about when I’m not playing.

Its not news that this game is beloved already and is even being made into a feature film from the makers of the Sonic the Hedgehog films, which, while not my cup of tea, have been very successful and seem to be well enough made movies to give me some hope that the new video game film golden age will continue.
